Why I Chose LFSS: A Parent’s Perspective

Families select LFSS for a variety of reasons; below is Janice and Tom Perino’s story. Like many parents, I enrolled my first child in swim lessons at the YMCA. The water was freezing and I felt like my child was spending more time splashing and waiting his turn than learning skills. Frustrated, I turned to Google. Little Fishes Swim School popped up and, after a bit of research, I was sold.

The first class at LFSS was an entirely new experience. The small class size, the heated, saltwater pools, the engaging instructors…it was amazing.

We’ve been at LFSS for four years now. My oldest son, Mason, is six and my youngest son, Max, is four. Both absolutely love their swim lessons and Mason can swim independently. In fact, he is currently mastering butterfly!

Our family has referred a number of other families to LFSS because I really feel like Little Fishes offers a unique experience. The staff members are coaches, more than instructors; they truly care about each child. The curriculum is unparalleled—and it works.
